The University of California asked Kevin to identify ways for the University's ten separate campuses to work more closely together, and to facilitate better communication between the campuses and the Office of the President. He has helped numerous nonprofit organizations with strategic planning efforts, and has helped loose coalitions come into alignment.

In many cases, he interviews a wide range of stakeholders, and identifies common themes or opportunities for coalescence. As a facilitator, he helps large groups come together and make decisions.
